Psychotronic World
05:17
|
|||
I fell in love,
A love from afar.
I saw an image
Of a desolate star.
Around it a planet
Of grey and gold and green
And there were no people
No one to be seen.
But there were strange houses
In fields freshly mowed.
Cut with strange symbols
Was it some kind of code?
And there were no right angles,
No corners or straight lines.
But there were concrete highways
In the shape of occult signs.
Psycho, psycho ... psychotronic world.
.... psychotronic dream.
And I saw a cabin,
A cabin in the sky.
Hung from a mast
To be raised low or high.
And inside a girl,
Pale and confused.
Possessed by a will
That you could not refuse.
Psycho, psycho ... psychotronic world.
.... psychotronic dream.
... psychotronic love.
... psychotronic semaphore.

My Connection
03:12
|
|||
I'm addicted to sleep.
Addicted to sleep.
Gotta count more sheep.
I'm addicted to sleep.
I’m addicted to work.
I’m addicted to working out.
I’m looking for answers.
I’m addicted to doubt.
You could be my connection,
Supply your confection.
My sweet candy girl,
It’s a beautiful world.
I’m addicted to the night.
Addicted to the night.
I’m staying out of the light.
I’m addicted to the night.
You could be my connection,
Supply your confection.
My sweet candy boy,
Fill the whole world with joy.

The Light Of The World
06:11
|
|||
We stood enthralled
By The Light Of The World.
It shone bright in the dark
All surrounded by gold.
We stood outside
The door to our lives.
The darkness around
Pressed down on our eyes
.
An alien king
Encased in shining green
And a light that’s the strangest
The world’s ever seen.
The king,
The alien king
With his zinc-veined orange wings.
He wears at his throat the console
That controls
The Martian dawn.
While we stand on earth
All forlorn.
You stand in the hall
And wait for his call.
The sound will reveal
If the world stands or falls.

Heavenly Beings
03:53
|
|||
There are heavenly beings among us
Whose lives are joyous and free
From the cares that weigh on our shoulders
And our shameful memories.
They don’t know sin.
They’re pure within.
There are machines of pure beauty among us
Who write true poetry
To ease the cares on our shoulders
And our painful memories.
They make joyous song.
They don’t know wrong.
There are wrongful sinners among us
With clear and true memories
Who carry the world on their shoulders
Until the day that they are set free.
Their sin is real.
It’s the pain they feel.

Becket
04:46
|
|||
At the head is Christ the Pantocrator
on a field of gold tiles.
On the second rank stand the
apostles who gaze without smiles.
Saint James gives the A okay, Peter
with his wooly hair.
Then the archangel Michael next to
Mother Mary, she’s got the only
chair.
On the third tier, with the pontiffs
and the patriarchs
Is the low born English cleric who
only played a bit part.
Well he got himself whacked by
King Henry and it caused an
almighty ruckus with the Holy See.
You see there’d been a lot of
wrangling about state and canon
law and Thomas Becket just couldn’t
let it be.
So after that went down his buddy
Alexander stepped in and
threatened a papal interdict.
And that was around the time work
began on the foundations of
Monreale Cathedral crypt.
Henry’s friend Roger the Sicilian
greased some palms to stop him
getting excommunicated.
And public atonement did the trick
and Rome’s displeasure abated.
As we stand under the stars, the
midnight sky and the golden beams,
Look up, look up, look up at the
Heavenly Court,
Flanked by the archangels Raphael
and Uriel.
Above two Seraphim each with six
wings:
Two to cover the face in reverence
to the divine grace,
Two to cover the feet in adoration
of you and me,
And two more wings each with
which to beat a hasty retreat.
Around the wings are eyes, around
the wings are eyes,
Around the wings are eyes, kept
fixed on the prize
And next to them the cherubim, not
like children.
No they ain’t little children but like
bugs with wings pointing down and
they fly around.
And is the vessel that sits on the
throne The jar of vinegar
Offered to a man dying of thirst?
Or is it the grail? Is it the grail?
What is the grail?
Under the stars, the midnight sky
and the golden beams
And the wings of angels and the
wings of angels, only angels have
wings.
And the wings of angels and the
wings of angels, only angels have
wings.

Anti
03:06
|

I touch the ground.
I touch the ground.
The Earth is my mother.
I have no desire
To escape the bonds of gravity
And drift up and away into infinity.
I lie in the desert
In a house of skulls,
From the ones who never made it
At the wrestling school.
I have no desire to escape.
I choose to remain in this landscape.
I use my strength
To defend the little people.
You call me a monster
While you squash them without
seeing.
I have no desire you suppose.
I’m only here to oppose.
I touch the ground.
I touch the ground.
The Earth is my mother.
I have no desire
To escape the bonds of gravity
And drift up and away into infinity.

Blue Hole
04:59
|
|||
Light and dark and murk and haze.
Blue is all that meets your gaze.
Don’t forget your buoyancy.
Evade the diver’s cemetery.
Blue hole, Red Sea,
Sink down, Take me.
Fall into the deep blue maze.
Fight the dead narcotic daze.
Don’t forget toxicity
Of the air that sets you free.
Blue hole, Red Sea,
Sink down, Take me.

Lone Wolf
05:06
|
|||
You are waiting
Outside your office.
Across the street
A man stands alone.
In front of his head
A cardboard placard
With a smiley face
Scrawled on it in black pen.
Do you: A) call 911;
B) punch the face;
C) smile back?
Squad cars arrive
With sirens wailing.
A SWAT team takes position
And a non-uniformed officer
With a loud-hailer
Walks up next to you.
Do you: A) back away;
B) tell them the man with the smiley
face is not a threat;
C) check your pocket?
In your pocket is a revolver,
A cigarette lighter
And a mask.
Do you: A) take out the revolver;
B) Light a cigarette;
C) Put on the mask?
There is a small explosion.
The officers fall to the ground
coughing.
You breathe through the mask.
It seems to be some kind of poison
gas.
The police are all dead now.
The man with the smiley face
Is still standing there.
He starts to walk toward you.
Do you: A) Say hello;
B) Run away;
C) Shoot him?
The bullet goes through his body
But there is no blood.
The man keeps walking forward.
A car pulls up.
A woman in a mask
Opens the right side door
And shouts, ‘get in!’
Do you: A) get in;
B) Shoot the man with the smiley
face again;
C) Shoot the woman?
The woman puts her foot on the gas
And you tail it outa there.
She turns to you and says,
‘It started.We gotta get out the
city.’
She goes through a red light and
hangs a left.
Up ahead the road is blocked
By a giant sheet of cardboard.
A smiley face is scrawled on it
As if by a twenty foot magic
marker.
You screech to a halt.
Do you: A) Stay in the car;
B) Get out the car and run to a side
street;
C) Shoot the giant smiley face?
From inside the car
You watch the giant smile open
Into a giant black mouth.
You don’t know how
But the car is pulled inside.
You no longer experience gravity.
Do you: A) Try to get out the car;
B) Do nothing;
C) Shoot yourself?
You are waiting
Outside your office.
Across the street
A man stands alone.
In front of his head
A cardboard placard
With a smiley face
Scrawled on it in black pen.
